MADISON!! Back in September there was an auction at the Dawn Farm Jamboree and one of the items was a manicure from little old me :) Madisons Dad won the gift certificate and today we were finally able to redeem it.

It's been a while...
I got some really cute coral skinny jeans and I wanted a matching mani. It didn't turn out how I wanted, but the color was perfect.

I have totally had glitter on the brain for the past few days. I was shocked to see I only have 4 colors! Need to get on that ASAP ;)

my heart beats for you

I met my husband about 10 years ago and we became friends immediately. I had the biggest crush on him but I was so painfully shy that I had no idea how to tell him. Fast forward 7 years and after we both found ourselves single at the same time, I took him out to dinner and confessed that I thought he was the bee's knees! We were married on 09-09-09 and I am still absolutely crazy about him  - as I have been for years <3

I have quite a few objects in my home depicting the sacred heart. I'm not particularly religious, but I think the art is some of the most beautiful I've ever seen.

I have been obsessed with J Crew for many, many, years and one of my favorites is the Critter collection...you know, all those cute embroidered things on pants, polos,  shorts, etc...
Anyway, that is what I think of whenever I do this kind of mani :)

This mani was inspired by a Clyfford Still painting. Fun fact: A very drunk young lady caused $10,000 worth of damage to another of Still's paintings, 1957-J No.2, after punching it, rubbing her behind on it, and trying to urinate on it. Not cute  lady, not cute at all.
