I have really been enjoying bright summer colors with just a simple black design

highland bling
I got these nail wraps by Cheeky the other day. I love the pattern but I feel like the Sally Hansen nail effects go on much smoother (or maybe I'm out of practice). Either way - they look lovely ;)

glitter love
I have totally had glitter on the brain for the past few days. I was shocked to see I only have 4 colors! Need to get on that ASAP ;)

hungry as a hunter
I picked up this incredible hunter green polish tonight from Sinful Colors called Last Chance. I'm not sure if this was the right color to put with it but it will do for now :) It is such a beautiful color that I considered just leaving my nails polished, but I caved and had to add a little flare ;)

i heart miu miu
This is another mani inspired by Miu Miu; an adorable heart print skirt from the 2011 resort collection.

let it snow
I'm not usually one for holiday themed mani's but I do love snowflakes! I'll probably feel different in about a month or so, but right now it looks so beautiful outside <3

hydragea in mint and pink
ok, so I'm not quite done...worked late and have to get up early. I have wanted to use this image for some time and I'm very happy with the result :)

last day of stamping
Today wraps up 30 days of only stamping. I had originally planned on using all of my plates but my collection keeps growing (20 more coming next week) ;)

too cool for prep school
I'm ashamed to admit it but I've been watching a LOT of Gossip Girl lately and I have to say, I'm kind of obsessed with all things preppy right now.

candy colored trees
I found the most amazing website where you can design patterns and color palettes and browse thousands of designs that other people have made. I used a tree pattern that was already created and customized the palette.
Now I'll to have to figure out how to divide my time between Pinterest and Colourlovers ;)

cutesville camo
I got these adorable camo pants at J Crew the other day and I wanted to do a cute camo design to go with them. This, believe it or not, ended up taking about 5 hours to do! I just couldn't get the look I was going for and started over from scratch twice :(
I finally decided to focus more on the cute and less on the camo ;)

Vampy V-gap
This mani is a variation on a style that was made popular in the 1930's where is was fashionable to leave the half moon and the tip of the nail bare.
Marianne Mead's book, Charm & Personality, originally published in 1938, stated that "neither the moon at the base of the nail, nor the whitened tip is covered with polish. While a few women will cover the entire nail with polish, this style is considered a little extreme, and the more conservative leave the moon and tip free of polish."
I guess I would have been considered "a little extreme"...
