gold finger
I LOVE the gold foil! Unfortunately, I only got about one days wear out of them :(
Still, the effect was pretty awesome. I would probably give them another shot, maybe with a little nail glue or something. Check 'em out here

highland bling
I got these nail wraps by Cheeky the other day. I love the pattern but I feel like the Sally Hansen nail effects go on much smoother (or maybe I'm out of practice). Either way - they look lovely ;)

red-y or not
Go, go glitter nails,!! I saw these shoes the other night and I really, really, love them :)
Here is a little mani inspired by them <3

my favorite heart of all
I have quite a few objects in my home depicting the sacred heart. I'm not particularly religious, but I think the art is some of the most beautiful I've ever seen.

rhinestone tiger
I'm a little obsessed with the rhinestones right now so there may be a couple more in the next few days ;)

POW!
This looked so much cooler in person! I still haven't figured out how to photograph metallics and have them look decent :/

wu hoo!
I love this mani from Jason Wu 2011 fall/winter show. I reversed the design and actually shaped my nails - I think for the first time ever :)

swirls and stars
I guess I am into holiday manis! This doesn't really scream "Christmas" but it reminds me of wrapping paper and decorated ornaments :)

chevron 2.0
I have a new found respect for all of those water marbling artists out there...3 attempts tonight, and none were even close to being good enough to post! I was looking through Adventures in Acetone's blog and I saw this really great tutorial that she did; the colors and design are fabulous!
After hours of trying this out however, I decided to throw in the towel and do something a little easier :)
I do love the chevron design and I thought I could at least get this on my nails without too much trouble...

nail party in cutesville!
Two of my (self proclaimed) "biggest fans" came over today for a nail party! New to the magic of nail stamping, it's fair to say that it was pretty much love at first sight.
Thanks for an awesome afternoon ladies <3
first up is E-flo: classic leopard + bling = dope
next, Rza: 10 different designs like you've never seen before (check out the unicorn with an upside down cowboy hat on the left thumb)
last but not least, cutesville:

military leopard
I finally got my hands on the new OPI military green - the name is a little odd, Uh-Oh Roll Down the Window, but I really do love the color.
I used image plate BM-221 tonight, 59 plates to go ;)

birds of a feather
I'm thinking that as a new challenge I'll go through all of my image plates and use at least one design from each. So far I have 61 plates, so this might be quite a job. Tonights is from Bundle Monster, plate BM-214.

return of the stamp
2 nights in a row! I needed a little break from hand painting - or rather, my wrist did! I have missed the ease of my trusty image plate and stamp <3

proud as a peacock
Used just nailpolish for this mani and I forgot how long it takes to dry :(
The colors are more glossy than the paint and I really like the gold. This was inspired by a classic peacock mani that I saw on Supa Nails blog - if you haven't checked that out you should, she is awesome.

laser V2
Nailside is pretty much top dog when it comes to the laser mani. I tried it a few months ago but I found it really difficult to keep the tape even and the nail polish just wouldn't stay where it was supposed to.
I ordered some graphic chart tape last week so I decided to give it another go. What a difference!! This stuff is great; I got it in 1/8th in and 1/16th in. The tape sticks to the nail very well and its the exact same width every time. So much easier!
